The COHESIFY partners from the Delft University of Technology and the University of Strathclyde are organising a session on Cohesion policy and European identity at the upcoming conference of the Association of Geographical Societies in Europe (EUGEO) to be held in Brussels from 4 – 6 September 2017.

EUGEO organises a major international scientific congress every two years, bringing together geographers and scientists from all over the world. This year’s theme is Geography for Europe, covering many aspects of the geography of Europe as well as the contribution of geography to the development of Europe, and the problems the continent is facing at present.

The format of the congress will be based on thematic sessions where topical issues relevant for Europe and Geography will be presented and discussed. COHESIFY will be represented in the session on “EU Cohesion Policy and European identity,” sharing the first research results from our project with the scientific community.

Academics and researchers interested in participating in this or other thematic sessions are invited to submit their papers here. The deadline for submitting papers is 24 April 2017. The full list of thematic sessions and the accepted authors will be published on the EUGEO website on 25 April 2017.
